Our Mission: Powering Rural/Township Creativity
ITTFF is more than a festival; it's a movement to bring Rural & Township stories to life. By showcasing original films, hosting trainings and workshops, and providing networking opportunities, ITTFF is committed to creating a powerful platform where new voices are heard and celebrated.

KEY FOCUS AREAS IN 2025:
Production Design: Addressing the shortage of skilled
Production Designers specializing in Set Design, Props, and
Visual Aesthetics forhorror films. VFX, SFX, FSX Training:
Intensive workshops and master classes on Visual Effects
(VFX), Special Effects (SFX), and Fire/Smoke Effects (FSX),
areas with untapped potential in KZN and beyond.
Makeup&Wardrobe(SpecialEffects): Equipping makeup artists
and costume designers with skills for creating realistic
horror visuals— prosthetics, gore effects, and eerie
costumes.
Post-Production Mastery: DUT lectures and
experts will lead workshops on post-production, sound
design, and film scoring, with a special focus on horror
aesthetics.
Intellectual Property Workshops: CIPC will
continue its role in educating filmmakers on IP rights,
copyright laws, and protecting creative work
